Specific Need
The Cemetery uses donations to help pay for work such as new tree planting, dead tree removal and tree pruning, grass mowing, historic headstone repair, and driveway and parking area care. Any money received helps perpetuate the care and upkeep of the Cemetery.
Mission
The Blooming Valley Cemetery Association cares for the cemetery on a daily basis in order to provide a good experience for family members and visitors to the Cemetery. The Board of Trustees doing this work are all volunteers, as there are no employees of the Cemetery. Work includes picking up debris, pruning, fall leaf clean-up, the marking and layout of graves, sale of lots, placement of Veterans' flags, headstone repair, attendance at burials, and extensive record keeping.
