Specific Need

The transformation of Karl Gerdon Park began with a vision five years ago. Today, the rehabilitated park is nearly complete. Soon this space will welcome people of all ages and provide spaces for everyone to enjoy. Improvements include a new playground, pavilion, basketball court, two pickleball courts, a restroom, and access to French Creek for swimming, paddling, fishing, rock skipping, and more. All amenities will be connected by concrete pathways and new asphalt parking will border the site. Restoration of natural features will occur over time with the addition of grass, trees and shrubs. Please consider supporting the completion of this project as well as helping to establish a fund to maintain this park far into the future. Thank you!
