Specific Need
We spend thousands of dollars every year taking care of abused, neglected and unwanted animals. We handle apporximately 6000 animals a year from horses and other farm animals to dogs and cats to small mammals and birds. We are a true no-kill shelter working hard every day to help every animal we can...one animal...one day at a time.

Mission
The Association for Needy Animals is a non profit, no kill, open admission animal welfare organization founded by Ruth Thompson in June 2004. It is our goal to provide unwanted, stray, abused or neglected animals with a safe nurturing loving environment where they can be either reunited with their owners or placed into new life long loving homes. Giving each animal a chance - saving one animal at a time.
