Specific Need
EmergyCare, NWPA’s largest non-profit ambulance service, has provided EMS training since 1986. We offer EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic Programs that meet Pennsylvania Department of Health and Bureau of EMS standards. EmergyCare is raising funds to create an ambulance simulator to enhance the training experience for its students. The simulator will provide hands-on experience inside a real ambulance, helping students become more efficient and accurate when they start working. Your donation can help make this simulator a reality and better prepare EMS workers to help you and your loved ones during emergencies.
An ambulance simulator helps students practice new skills and see how they react to situations they will face in the field. Instructors can see how students handle stress and distractions. Students can then practice and improve their skills and procedures. The simulator will have a high-definition camera system so instructors and students can watch and learn. By working and learning inside a simulated ambulance, students become more efficient and accurate when they start working.
The simulated ambulance will also allow EmergyCare’s EMS instructors to travel to different training locations.
Please help us equip the ambulance simulator with the necessary tools so we can better help you and your loved ones during emergencies.
