Mission
The Mission of the Meadville Area Free Clinic is to provide needed health care services completely free of charge to any community resident who has no health insurance, Medicare, or Medical Assistance.
Volunteers, local agencies, and donors will participate collaboratively to improve the health and well being of the community by assisting this needy population to meet their primary health care needs.
Profile
Meadville Area Free Clinic offer services free of charge to those who do not have health insurance, Medicare, Medical Assistance or Veterns Benefits.
Persons with chronic problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma can receive care and monitoring by the clinic.
Staffed by volunteers and a part time manager, all professional staff are licensed or certified in their fields.
Some prescriptions are available free to patients who qualify due to income levels through our partnerships.
If needed medical services cannot be provided by the clinic, referrals are made to specialists.
Through the hard work of dedicated volunteers, partnerships and our supporting community we serve over 800 patients annually, and have been doing so since 1997.
Patients are seen by appointment only by calling the office. (814-333-3932)
We do not provide emergency care. Patients are urged to seek such care at an emergency facility.
