Profile
St. James Haven is a non-profit 501c3 organization that provides shelter for homeless men. We are open from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. seven days a week 365 per year. We offer a nutritious meal, hot shower, hygiene products, fellowship, and a comfortable bed to lay their head. Our goal is to provide a place where each guest can take time to begin rebuilding their life without the concern or worry of where they will sleep and what they will eat. Our men are ordinary people who have reached a place where they need a hand up, not a hand out and that is what St. James Haven offers. We work closely with other social service agencies to help our guests transition into independent living. St. James Haven is staffed with an Executive Director and two live-in managers. We have an incredible board of directors, along with nightly visitors and volunteers who help make St. James Haven a welcoming place to stay. We do not receive any ongoing government or state funding and operate mainly on contributions and donations from our benevolent community. Each guest is treated with kindness, respect and dignity and encouraged into a better life.
