Goal: $2,500.00
Specific Need
For 2023's Crawford Gives, we here at Stone Memorial Library are asking our donors to help us double the $2,500 in donations that we have received over the summer in support of our Summer Reading program. This would bring the total of our community support for children's books, resources, and programming to a total amount of $5,000!
A portion of these donations will be put towards the creation of a small "reading nook" in a corner of our children's section. This reading nook will allow for children and their families to have a comfortable seating area to sit in and read together, separate from our play and storytime area in the back. The remaining funding will be used to purchase books, educational toys, and other costs related to programming, such as supplies and entertainer's fees.
Any amount you are able to give will help us towards our goal of making our library a more comfortable space to spend time in - whether it be reading, researching, or relaxing. Your donations are valued and only help us to continue to give back to our community.
