Goal: $3,000.00
Specific Need
Timber Ridge is a STAR 4 high quality child care and education program in northern Crawford County. We have been blessed to purchase a building to renovate and have completed many of renovations with the help of supporters. We are now located in the new facility and it is a nature-based preschool and infant-toddler program. We are hoping to raise enough funding to develop our outside nature areas for the children to enjoy and learn in. This has become a large undertaking. We also understand that many people are in need of child care and are unable to find suitable child care and we want to be able to provide this for our communitees. We can reach this goal with the support of Crawford Gives.
We are using the funds raised from the Crawford Gives initiative towards a natural playground. With the constant use of technology and high paced life everyone leads we want to bring a calming, relaxed, and inviting natural environment to our children. We are able to do this at our new facility. The new property houses several acres of yard and wooded areas. These areas will be fenced in and contain natural materials to play with and explore, such as trees, wood cookies, water, sand, dirt, a bike track, and other materials.

Profile
Timber Ridge is a nonprofit child care facility in Conneautville, PA. We service not only Conneautville, but the surrounding communities as well. A large portion of the families we work with are low income families. We work with children from 6 weeks to 9 years of age. We currently serve and always have helped children who may otherwise fall through the cracks. We are able to work with the family to find stability and assist them by providing the resources that they need as they work through the job process and get back on their feet. We also provide food, blankets, clothing, and other things a child or family might need if there is an emergency or disaster such as a fire.
We have included photos of play areas in our new facility. We have also included pictures of the facility itself so that you may see the work in progress.
