Goal: $15,000.00

Specific Need

Our Hope is that you choose to Support the PTO'S Playground Renovation.  This $150,000 + renovation will include replacing or repairing existing  equipment for the children’s safety, adding additional equipment for play and eventually having a turf foundation with curbs and wheelchair ramps to make the space safe and accessible by all! The Playground is not only used by students while school is in session but also open to the public during non-school hours. By Participating in this effort, you would help to fund this  project at West End Elementary School.

Profile

PTO sponsors in-school events like track and field day, S.O.A.R. luncheon, PSSA snacks, 6th grade promotion and kindergarten orientation, we provide the students and teachers of West End Elementary with any support items, we are also responsible for school beautification, playground updates and we fund transportation for school year field trips. We have been able to provide these activities in previous years because of the support of our West End Families and community. Once again this year a main focus for us is the school playground. Some of the equipment needs to be replaced or repaired for the children’s safety. We would like to add more equipment for play and hope to eventually have a turf foundation with curbs and wheelchair ramps to make the space safe and accessible by all! We also hope to continue providing the other events and activities from past years. The playground is not only used by the students while school is in session but also open to the public during non-school hours. The usefulness of our playground is a direct reflection of our continued community support.
